Building a Multi-Set State-of-the-Art Studio for Silverloch

Client: Silverloch
Project Location: Stuart, Florida
Completion Date: March 6, 2025

Project Overview

We were approached to design and build a new, state-of-the-art video studio for The Dan Bongino Show, as well as other shows in the same studio. At the time, the show was being produced in a small home studio. Given their growing audience of millions of listeners, they needed a professional studio space that could support high-quality video production.

Initial Consultation & Planning

Our team traveled to the home studio in Stuart, Florida, to observe a live taping of the show. This allowed us to gain insights into their production workflow and identify key improvements for their new studio. The new location was an old fast-food restaurant slated for conversion into a high-tech production facility.

We collaborated with their production consultant to assess the necessary equipment and infrastructure for the studio. After careful evaluation, we presented a comprehensive package with a detailed budget, which was subsequently approved by the Silverloch team.

Design & Construction Coordination

Once the project was greenlit, we procured the required equipment and began weekly meetings with their construction team, including their architect, to integrate our technical recommendations into the building plans.

Key areas of focus included:

  • Strategic placement of cables and wiring before walls were closed and painted
  • Coordination with their radio broadcast team for seamless integration of radio equipment
  • Close collaboration with set designers to optimize studio lighting
  • Consultation with internet providers to ensure a robust and reliable connection for streaming and broadcasting

Studio Installation & Setup

Our team played a pivotal role in assembling and installing the studio’s core components:

  • Designing and building custom consoles and racks
  • Purchasing and installing all the studio equipment
  • Installing a professional lighting grid, cameras, and sound equipment
  • Engineering a control room to comfortably accommodate three producers, featuring a glass window for direct eye contact with on-air talent
  • Implementing a multi-camera switcher to seamlessly switch between three camera angles, with an additional camera in the control room for on-air integration

Training & Launch

Once installation was complete, we trained The Dan Bongino Show production team on how to operate the new equipment and optimize their workflow. This ensured they were fully prepared to produce high-quality content from day one.

On March 6, 2025, the first show aired from the new studio, marking a successful transition to their upgraded production space. The Bongino team is thrilled with their new studio, and we are proud to have played a role in elevating their broadcasting capabilities.

Dan Bongino had accepted the position of Deputy Director of the FBI, so his show had been put on hold. However, the studio was used for other podcasts, and he has since left that job and resumed his podcast.
